House for Sale

After nine years in our little mansion, it is time to say, "Good-bye." Our offer has been accepted by the sellers of another house in the Poetry area. So, we offically put our house on the market last week. We have had several people inquire about the house. Hopefully someone will love it as much as we have.

I have wanted to move for three years, but now that it is here I am having a hard time getting myself mentally prepared. We have had many wonderful memories in this little house.

  • This was the house that Michael and I came home to after our honeymoon.

  • This was the patio that I was sitting on when I learned that my Granddad had passed away.

  • This is the bedroom where my water broke with Addison as I was putting sheets on the bed one Saturday night at 10:00.

  • This is the living room where I told Michael that Baby #2 was on the way.

  • This is the house that both of our babies came home to after we left the hospital.

First steps, first words, first boo-boo's.....the list goes on and on. I know it is time to move on. We have outgrown this house, but I will always remember our first little home!

We are praying that God will send us a buyer soon....

Our Baby Boy

Our baby boy is turning four on Wednesday.
We thank God for both of our children every day!

Brock's Big Dream

Brock is all about hunting and fishing. This mount belongs to one of Michael's friends that is in the deer business. Needless to say, Brock has big dreams about hunting at Tom's place...
More of Tom's deer...

This is one of Brock's favorite birthday gifts. It was given to him by one of Michael's friends.

I don't know who likes this more, Brock or Michael?
Michael likes this mount, alot.

I feel sorry for Brock's wife.....until then, I guess our house will look like Arbuckle Wilderess (in time).

Brock's Birthday Party

We celebrated Brock's birthday on Thursday night at Jump and Jive in Rockwall. He had a few friends join him to bounce the night away. His actual birthday will be on Wednesday.
Aunt Mittye always does a great job on the cake!

The kids were so thirsty after bouncing for an hour.

Happy Birthday to Brock!

Big Sister, her birthday is quickly approaching

Brock & Ethan playing basketball.

Lottie joins the fun.

Brock and his best buddy from school, Ethan.
Ethan, Brock, & Wyatt

Emma bouncing away.

Somehow I only got pictures on two of the bouncy houses. This place is a room with 5 blow up bouncy houses. The kids were all over the place, but they had a great time. My two kiddos were extremely tired about bouncing all night :)

My Two Front Teeth

Addison has lost both of her front teeth since Christmas. They were loose for several weeks. On our first day back at school, Jan. 2nd, her first one came out. Then on Saturday morning, the second one came out. This is #5 and #6 on the tooth list for her. All she wants for her birthday is her two front teeth....

Brock loves playing on the computer.

This is how the girls spent Saturday.

Brock's birthday party is set for this Thursday. His actual birthday is not until the 23rd, but we are out of school on Friday so we are going to party! Our big boy will be 4 years old :)

New Year's Eve

We ended the year with a weinie and marshmellow roast at Mema's and Papaw's. The real reason we were there was collect pecan wood. When I was out there earlier this week, Papaw had trimmed all of his pecan trees. Michael uses alot of pecan wood at the fire station so he went out to collect some. They stacked and burned the rest of the brush. Memaw thought we should have a weinie roast since we were going to have a good fire. So Michael and the kids went out to their house around 11:00. I went to the store to gather roasting items and I went out around noon. Other than the north wind that blew in, it was very comfortable. The kids had a great time. They especially loved riding the four-wheeler with Papaw.

Just Playing Around

Michael has been at the fire station for the past 48 hours. The kids and I have been busy playing instead of cleaning. Michael will be so proud of us when he gets home...

The dogs even started playing with us tonight. Allie was playing fetch when Dottie decided to play tug-o-war with her. They moved too fast for a picture.

Dottie is waiting for Allie to come down the hall with the toy.

The kids are playing horse. It was too cold to ride Dandy in Oklahoma :(

Dottie climbed on top of the chair to get away for Allie & Brock. This was a big step for Allie. She is not very fond of the kids. She only likes me!
Before Allie moved to the top of the chair. She really wants Brock to go away here.
My first baby girl

Since Daddy is at the fire station, the kids decided to make their own dinner, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. All I can saw about these pictures is that we believe in safety first.

The kids promised me that they would clean their rooms and then we would watch Meet the Robinsons. Well....we found The Sound of Music on t.v. I can't deny them a classic. I am going to clean their rooms while they wait for the do-re-me song.
