Oklahoma Mountains
Just pretend this picture is at the end of this post
On Monday we drove to the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma. To begin the day, we drove to the top of Mount Scott. It was a chilly day to begin with, so when we reached the top of the mountain it was cold. Brock loved climbing on the rocks and eventhough it was cold, he didn't want to leave.
We drove back down the mountain and headed for the picnic area. After lunch, my dad thought we should take the hiking trail to the top of the mountain. We left Grandmother and Mother at the campfire/picnic area and headed up. Two hours later, we finally made it back down. The kids loved it, but they were extremely tired (and they weren't the only ones!!!)

Lions, Tigers and Bears
We headed to Oklahoma for a few days during spring break. After church and the OU basketball game, we went to Wynnewood to a park for rescued animals. It has mainly big cats, but has acquired many different animals. The kids even got to hold a baby lion and pet a baby tiger, thanks to Grumps. We took Issac, Addison & Brock's cousin. All of the kids enjoyed the beautiful weather and all of the animals. Three Monkeys

Addison's February Birthday
For several years, Addison has wanted to have a tea party. So thanks to the decorating ideas of Aunt Sallee and the dress up clothes of Grandmommy, we were able to celebrate her 8th birthday party in style.
Two (very short) weeks after we had creatures crawling around on our floor, we replaced them with tiaras, boas and a lot of bling. Seven of Addison's best friends joined her to celebrate her 8th birthday.
The par"tea" began with each girl building a tower from sugar cubes. Then the foo-foo began. The girls dressed from head to toe....with hats, sequins, boas, jewelry, etc. Shortly after, they lit up the runway and strutted their stuff. It took a few wardrobe changes to get them into the runway spirit, but when they did....they did!
The party was so much fun for the girls!
