Fun in the Snow Part I

The title of this post is Part I because we had to come in to dry off and warm up. I'm certain that we will be headed out again and again and again. Michael made it to Dallas safely this morning, but we were fortunate enough to get to stay home and enjoy the snow.
Snow Angel

Allie Belle does not like this stuff!!

The snowman that we made yesterday was tackled by Brock this morning, so Addison decided to make a new one.

Meanwhile, Brock broke out the boogie board.

Addison added some accessories to make her creation a snow girl.

The finished product

Brock decided to build a snow fort, but quickly changed it to an igloo.

It amazes me how engaged this child can get when he is interested in his work.

He told me that this was hard work, but it was fun!

Who said beach toys were only for the sand??

More to come..............

Snow Pictures

It continued to snow thoughout the night again. We have so much snow! Just posting some random pictures from our snow covered house.

I believe DFW got around 10-12 inches. I'm not sure our exact amount. It is the perfect amount for tons of fun!

Snow Ice Cream

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to make snow ice cream. So when we got home yesterday, we put three bowls on top of Daddy's work truck. This was what they looked like at 4:30. This is the result at 7:45.

Team Work

The finished product, complete with chocolate chips and sprinkles....YUMMY!

We have another bowl outside full of snow just in case we want more!

Our turn for the snow has finally come. It started snowing in Texas during the middle of the night and it hasn't stopped all day. We did go to school today, but it is unlikely we will be going tomorrow. a snapshot on the way home from school
