Wedding Day

Addison was the flower girl in a wedding today. For those of you who know the same people we do, the groom was Jan's nephew. They didn't have a little girl available in their family, so she asked Addison to be in the wedding. After visiting with Jan's sister, we discovered that the doctor that delivered the groom (and his twin brother) actually delivered Addison too. Since we consider Jan and her family part of our family, it was an honor for Addison to be a part of this special day.

Addison was very nervous since she only knew one person in the wedding party.

The wedding took place in the old Catholic church here in town. It was a beautiful chapel.

Michael and Brock put the Christmas tree up while we were at the wedding. The kids decorated it when we got home......We will have Christmas pictures soon!

Rehearsal Night

Addison is in a wedding tomorrow afternoon, so tonight was the rehearsal. She wanted to wear blue jeans and "dress them up". I have no idea where she heard that from (April).....we all know that I don't "dress-up" anything.

Addison has an appointment at 10:30 in the morning to get her hair done for the wedding. I will post the wedding pictures tomorrow night.

Brock, on the other hand, just wanted to go hunting. So he wore his camo and his hunting boots.

Cooking for Thanksgiving

Addison & Brock helped prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Addison helped Daddy get the dressing ready. She wasn't sure about putting her hands in at first, but once she got started.....she loved it. Brock helped me make the deviled eggs and pea salad. Then Addison helped with the stuffing and she also got to place it inside the turkey. We all enjoyed a day of cooking and napping. Then Daddy decided we needed to kick of the Christmas season with a family movie, The Polar Express. It was a great day!

She was working in all the ingredients.

Awesome Kids

This morning when I was ironing my clothes, I glanced over at Addison's dry erase board and this is what I saw. When Addison got up I asked her what it said. She told me it said, "Brock and Addison love each other." It was a great mommy moment. I think I will frame this and show it to them when they are teenagers. They are really awesome kids! Michael and I are blessed to have both of them!!!!

Date Night

Michael and I had a date night on Friday. The kids took pizza and cupcakes to Memaw's and Pawpaw's. We went to Red Lobster. The food was delicious!!! It is always nice to talk to an adult ever now and then :) We topped our date off with a trip to Wal-Mart. We are very exciting people. The kids were sleepy when we picked them up, but they were happy to see us. It was a great night!

Kindergarten Feast

Addison had her Kindergarten feast on Thursday afternoon. She looked adorable in her pilgrim hat.

The Next Supermodel

Addison picked out her own picture outfit (the outfit she wore on picture day) several weeks ago. It finally got cool enough for her to wear it last week to church, so she had to pose in the in yard before we left. Brock is into hunting and camo right now. He wants to poom (shoot) everything in sight ;(
Both kids love to wear hats

Addison has to pose with her knee bent, like a model

This is Michael's child....

The next diva in the family....she gets this from her cousin, April

This is what the Texas water does to my precious kids!

Thanksgiving Feast

Today's Brock's school, Galaxy Ranch, hosted a Thanksgiving Feast for the students and families at their ranch in Wills Point. The kids enjoyed a day of face painting, pony rides, bouncy house and a hay ride.

Not Holly, but Kathy

So I'm trying this for the first time. Holly Marie has been me in the previous posts. Let's see if I can really do this at 10:00 at night. I really want to crawl in bed, but both kiddos are in my bed asleep.

By the way, Holly (since you are the only one who reads this), how do I get pics on this thing?

Too tired to think......going to bed!
