During our vacation, we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We chose this resort because of Brock's love for animals. It was an outstanding choice. The entire resort had an African theme, along with all of the animals right on our balcony. Brock loved waking up every morning and running to see what animals were outside. Here are a few pictures from the lobby.
Our room was nice. Addison & Brock loved finding all of the Mickey heads. They found them in the carpet, shower curtain, wallpaper...he was everywhere! Every day the kids also found Daisy and Goofy located in different areas around the room. The cleaning staff was very creative.

Brock was dying to go swimming. On our last night at the resort, Michael took the kids down for a few minutes while I started packing.
Our resort was beautiful and very clean. The entire staff was outstanding. We had one table service meal and one quick service meal at our resort and both meals were very good. We did notice that we seemed to be far away from all the parks except for Animal Kingdom. Since we always rode the shuttle, it wasn't that big of a deal to us. I would highly recommend this resort!

We are wanting to go to Disney when we go home stateside in 2013. Did you find a special package when you booked your trip? I have always thought Lottie would love to stay in Animal Kingdom as well:) I love all the pictures. We haven't been there since Elisabeth was 6 years old..I remember the Disney staff though was awesome and the park was super clean! Ruined Six Flags for us after that...lol
