Last Friday was Brock's 5th birthday. He went to school that morning so that he could share cupcakes and juice with his friends. Michael picked him up at lunch and brought him to school. We had his "special birthday lunch" in my classroom. After we got home from school, we gave him a couple of presents since it was his actual birthday. The pictures are all out of order. Brock was a bit confused when he opened his helmet. He thought he could use it to ride our neighbors four-wheeler. We walked outside for him to ask Hunter for a ride when he saw one in our yard. Michael had to explain to him that the four-wheeler was his. He was thrilled when he put all the pieces together.

Aunt Mittye's cake.....yum!
The birthday party was a huge success despite my melt down on Thursday night. We had planned the entire party to be held outside. Why not....it had been beautiful in Texas all week. As I watched the news on Thursday night, I knew that was not going to be possible. We had to move the entire party into the house & garage (with a heater). I made a mad dash to Michael's craft store on Friday afternoon to find crafts for 20 kids. I found some and the kids enjoyed doing them.
It was packed on Saturday in the house, but we made it work. All of the kids had a blast and they were ALL very well behaved. Brock has such awesome friends.

April came down from OK for the party. When the kids found out she was coming, they were so excited. When I told Brock her boyfriend was coming he said, "BOOOOO!" I love that kid! He is so funny :)
